I am a professional artist and I love working with different mediums when I'm creating my art. I paint landscapes mostly, I love nature. I also paint flowers and animals. There are many different styles of painting. 

Impression- Gives the illusion there is a flower in your painting. It lets the observer make up their own mind on what the details of the flower should be. Abstract- Also known as concrete art or non-objective art basically using different shapes and gestural marks while colors symbolize emotions. The feelings from the Artist shines thru and is felt by the observer. There are many more and a good google search can enlighten you on all of them. 

With this post on my blog I want to focus more on the medium one could use to create the art that is inside of them. Whether you are a crafter, or a professional these mediums are for you! Oh and one more thing. Never ever compare your art and art style to someone else who you think is better than you are. Everyone has an artist inside them, everyone has a creative mind as well. You are unique and there's no one else in this world JUST like you!

It's not cheating it's practicing, it's also a good way to learn to paint with shading and staying in the lines. This paint is one of my favorites to use, I love oil paints however the smells and the solvents are not my favorite to work with. With these paints the only thing you need is water! The difference between conventional oil paints and these is its ability to thin and clean up with just water and not hazardous solvents. There is no water within the paint's formulation; the linseed and safflower oils have been modified to allow the color to accept water. This creates a stable emulsion and retains the working characteristics of conventional oil color. Make sure you buy an extra white tube of paint; you will be amazed at how much white you will use. With these paints I use a soft brush like the ones used for acrylics. A brush that has firm but soft bristle.
